I cant be certain if this is a 005 because the coin is well circulated but the bar under the L matches IMO... What do you all think?

These L bars are a bit tricky. Definitely an L bar, though. May be too circulated unless you can find a good marker.

At first glance, the spread doesn't seem strong enough for -005, but after you realize the L is worn down, it looks more plausible.

Is the date on the coin 1962 or 1963? If it is 1962 it is impossible for it to be 1963D-1DO-005.
If it is 1963-D, you might also look at 1DO-012

Thats what i was thinking, the coin is well worn so the markers are gonna be tough!


Is the date on the coin 1962 or 1963? If it is 1962 it is impossible for it to be 1963D-1DO-005.
If it is 1963-D, you might also look at 1DO-012

It is a 1963, I must have fat fingered the date... Ill take another look at 012. Thanks!

An image of the date and mint mark would be helpfull.
