I've seen a few of these posted in the threads and I pretty certain this to be a 1980 p DDO. The pics I've seen seem to match pups. I am welcome to your comments. The y in liberty and the date. Appear to match what I've seen. And if that's the case. I think I have 2. One is not in the greatest shape so it makes it harder to see. Thank you. This is the better example.
The site is only letting me load 1 image. So ill post date after this pic hits the site. This is the y in liberty.

The picture is not the greatest. I need to adjust the lighting. Ill try one outside in sunlight and see if I can get a clearer picture. Ill post again after lunch with result from new pic.
Please excuse the sideways picture. I can't get it to load in the right orientation. Ill work on that. Something about Mobil uploading????

The 1980 p-1do-001 is most noticeable on the the date and libe of liberty with large notches on the sw corners of rty in liberty. Based on the image provided I don't believe this to be a doubled die.

That's not the DDO. The date suffers from circulation damage.

I agree, this is not the doubled die. I don't see the telltale extra thickness and separation lines in the date.

Thanks for the extra pic. In the future, try and orient them so north on the coin is pointing to the top of the page.

I've never seen a more perfect looking 1980 DDO E-V-E-R!

Wow coop. Outstanding pictures. Most definalty see the doubling there. Thanks for sharing the pic. Ill keep searching. At least it's copper. :)
