this cent has a die chip at the top of the one in the date, possible md of the one and nine, and i don't know what you call the extra metal from the bottom left of the D , i think someone on here called it a flying D.

There is a die chip on the 1, and there is die damage to the lower left of the mintmark.

thinks Simon, also do you see the lip and chin is that machine doubling or what ?
