My April finds started on what I had hoped to be a 1930 D/D RPM #1, but turned out to be MD instead. Then low and behold, another 1911 D/D RPM #4. This time a VF example that is really hard to cherry pick with marginal pictures, but I gambled.
I also had a chance to do a collection appraisal for an acquaintance whose brother had passed away. Unfortunately not enough time was available to go through every coin. The collection was mostly silver collected from circulation in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Best coin found was a VF 1932 S Washington Quarter and the rest was loose nickels and cents except for the 20 rolls of “S” mint mark cents. I checked one out to verify what was inside and again, they were mostly circulated wheat’s but some nice AU S examples, etc. Not sure what he plans to do with the collection but if wants me to help unload the stuff, I know you guys and gals would be all over those rolls !!
