Is this displaced metal?
Oddly I found a 82 with almost the same metal and same size.
Last image is the 82P

No if it is rim it's from another planchet. This one is whole.

From what I've seen around here lately James, I'm agreeing with Coop and Jacob about the struck through. Possibly a rim burr.

I agree this was a rare error till the 2012 cents came out. Its still a rare error for other dates but it seems 2012 went crazy with them. I could only see the 2012 rim burrs carrying any premium if numbers letters bust etc... is effected. But they still sell between 5-10 dollars a piece for the milder ones.
