So, yesterday I ordered $100 from by bank. The lady said they will be in by next Friday. So, today, I stopped by a local branch of the same bank to do some other business and decided to ask if they had any rolls. She said, "oh yes". She asked how many do I want. Hmm, I started with $10, then I said, "How many do you have?" She said about $500. I said ok, then how about $20, no wait, they come in bricks so it will be easier to get $25. She said no problem.
I took them home and the first thing I do is search for wheats and separate the copper. (which is as far as I got today) There were about $12 in copper, 60 wheats (1911, 1926 were the oldest with about 8 1930's) and 8 Canadian cents.
I think I am going to go back on Tuesday to get more. I have searched $100 a few times before and only came up with 40-50 wheats in the entire bunch.

Good Luck Jim, you never know what will pop up.
Been through 5,000 count bags before without a wheat or Northern Neighbor coin.

Wow! Congrats on the finds! I just searched $50 worth and only found 27 wheats. Have you ever found any stamped Lincolns?

Ugh, oh well, it was a thought. Find someone from the east coast to do a swap. Boxes from there are like looking through boxes from another planet.

So, since the first one, I searched $225 more. I went to the same branch of my bank and she gave me $125. (2) were in the normal brick boxes and (3) were in sealed bags, which I never saw before. The bricks were great. In one, I got (70) wheats and about 20% were copper. The other wasn't so great, with only 30 wheats and still a good amount of copper.
The bags were a bust. They were 98% zinc and amazingly, although there were a few wheat cents in the mix. It was like someone put them there on purpose. Out of the (3) bags, I got 5 wheats, 1919 being the oldest, and maybe 50 copper.
A few days later I went to the main branch and got the $100 I ordered the previous week. For me, it was another bust. All four were post 1982, about 99%+. Again, there were some wheat cents that someone had to put in there on purpose (I am just guessing) because there were (7) in the lot of $100 with the oldest being a 1911 and 1915. I did find a weird item though. It was an Indian Head Cent, BUT, it was gold plated and very light in weight. Probably some token someone made for an event, who knows (anyone?). I tried to take a scan of it but it didn't come out too well. I will try to get a pic of it tomorrow.
I know the post 1982 cents have a lot of search value, but at this point, I am only good at searching for Close AM's and Wide AM's.

I forgot to add, when you get bricks, does the bottom of the box usually have 'inspected by' stamped on it? I never noticed in previous bricks, but these were all marked like that.

My Brinks boxes are stamped Machine 168 and the date they were boxed.
If I ever meet this machine ill have to buy it a drink. It's been very good to me.
