As always, excuse the poor photos. One of these days, I'll upgrade to something that can take a decent picture. This is a 1912 that is actually very shiny in hand. Obviously, someone has coated it with something. It really is a shame too. This coin looks to be in pretty good shape.

Not sure why the last picture is so large. I've reduced it's size just like the first picture. :/

Either plated or painted. Might even be mercury coated, just in case don't rub it with your fingers.

Well Ed, I always did want to become a "Mad Hatter". :LOL_Hair: I guess I was just upset to see such a nice coin from 1912 like this.
