This is a really fun one! Super scarce coin on the whole, but out there. I've picked up a half a dozen of them from cherrypickers over the last few years.
Ken Potter related a story to me that about 20 years ago, he bought an entire roll of this variety, all pulled from a bag. They've been disbursed, but when done over time, it hasn't affected the coin's value negatively.
My favorite part of this one is the dramatic doubling at the base of the bust.
Fun coin George!

Very nice George. Still looking for a descent example.
You must have a organized search setup to go through 1 million coins a year.
James
Hi James, my search method is crazy, i use a three second rule of thumb on each coin that i search, so if you take three seconds times 50ty coins per roll which equals 150 seconds per roll, so then you take that times 50ty rolls would take me about 2hr's and 5 minutes to go through a brick of cents. The reason i use the three second rule is because if you look at a coin to long, you tend to see stuff that is not there and this method has worked great for me and when i find varieties, i put them all in one container and sort them out once a week, so in terms i can keep going until i need to empty the container for new varieties. This method works great and i can get through a lot of coins fast and i do not miss that much, i have most varieties memorized in my head while searching, so this makes everything faster and that is why i can go through so much coins a year.
Knowing the varieties sure does help. I have found myself checking more and more different dates for certain varieties.
I loupe them all toss those I need to use my handheld scope on in a pile and from there to the amscope if needed.
That dang 80P 1do 001 consumes a lot of my time and the 82's ouch.
