Has anyone here purchased a coin from E-Bay user I.D. Lincolngrader? He/she has quite a few RPM listings but no picks. Just of the coins - has anyone dealt with him/her and or are they a member here?

Thanks for the FYI in advance!

Not familiar, I'd be cautious too Eric.

I'd give the seller a thumb's up Eric. I looked at a lot of listings and the Class VIs were all correct, so were the RPMs that I could see in the images. I think they have a pretty good idea of what they're doing.

He has a few odds/ends there I could use for my set. Guess bid cheap and hopefully don't have to return!
Either that or bid on a few and hopefully make up the return cost with a larger purchase..

Why assume the negative Eeyore?? I don't see any reason to doubt this person, none at all.

I recently purchased from this seller and was happy with what I received!

The negative was from the last three folks I purchased, the coins were wrong plus I had to pay the ship back. Just get tired of paying the ship back, with Ins so your sure the seller will refund the $$$.
Remember all e-bay sales are troublesome unless you have an idea of who your dealing with or if they have decent pics of what they sell. In this case all we have is a nice coin with an avg price of $8.
I don't know about other folks but if I bought every $10 - 20 dollar variety out there that COULD be the right coin. I wouldn't have much left, in a short time; to buy anything. Sorry i'm not a big time dealer. I just buy what I find, if I cannot use it; sell to afford something I need when it does come up for sale....

I think I picked up 2-3 varieties from him and they were all correct in terms of attribution.

I bought the 70-D RPM#6 and the 71-D RPM#6. We'll find out soon...

Well I guess my bad luck rings true again. The 71-D #6 had incorrect position and the 70-D #6 was a later die stage with only a vertical line, coin Also had a light fingerprint you could not see in his photo's so the mintmark and secondary mintmark were very hard to see esp for pics because of the grey print marks.

I'm not banging the seller, but this is why I need to stick to sellers I know and have decent close up pics...
Cost me another $4.03 for postage and Ins...

Sorry. The couple things I bought were not as subtle, and were correct. Such obscure RPMs, with few available illustrations, are going to a lot harder to attribute. I hate when people guess that something is a particular die number. And I would ask the seller to pay return shipping.
