    1986P obverse???

There are no plating bubbles anywhere on this coin (except here if that's what they are). One of these days I'll have overlay capabilities and I won't have to ask. Are these marks a transfer of tops of letters on reverse?

If you can press them down they are linear plating bubbles.

      My vote? It's a gasser.

Yep, they look like it but they also coincide with some of the reverse letters. I have not been able to deflate with moderate pressure.

The letters on the reverse that would match up (if I am right) are TAT of states...your "bumps" are right to left line 2 dots a space and line.... not the top of the T A T which would be line dot line no big space....
my vote nope to letters.... gas bubbles ...I guess
and how would the letters get there if it was...is there a way?
            a clash would not show like that...miss aligned clash?...things I don't know...hmmmm
