It's a good reference list of some of the varieties and error to look for. Not so sure about the prices. They always seem to be changing.

1955 NO VDB? I have never heard of that.

No VDB coins are usually just Dies that have been heavily polished removing the Initials form the bust. I would consider them a minor error at best. 19888, 1989 and 1990 seem to be the years that this is the most common. For them to be of any value they need to be BU.

I talked to a local coin dealer that got bit by a no VDB buy. He bought it at a show and waited till he got home to get a good look at it under a scope. Polished off. He called it a learning experience.

Yeah, those prices are all over the place. The '94 DDO, for one, is worth more than that. I would like to take him up on some of those deals if he's selling.

I found mine (NGC MS65RD) in Boston...the photo is in "My Album".
At those prices I'd like to trade all my 2000 wide AM's for a '69-S DDO straight up.
