Yes; both are considered cllips, the second one is a really nice example. Nice finds on both and keepers.

The main identifier of small clips is the rims taper down to the clip and are not abruptly cut off.

If you look at the opposite side of the coin you should also see a weak strike, this is called the
Blakesley Effect.

Some coins have the Blakesley effect and some don't. However when it is present it is a sure sign or indicator of a true clip.
