I am quite sure this is an example of a 1955D-1MM-002, although it is well worn.

I checked the markers and this particular one on the reverse is a little different. Is that because this one is a later die stage (larger die chip)?

You are correct on both counts...it is 002 and a later die state than shown on coppercoins.Nice find !

Nice find! A very strong RPM. Coppercoins gives it 4 starts for visibility.
