Well I decided to look at a few Lincolns and low and behold a beauty pops out of nowhere. Looks like a double die but the obverse is slightly concave so may be a result of that. What do you think?

The ridge going through the motto and along the rim is from die wear.
It shows up like that mostly on some of the early zinc years.

I think the ridge and what you see on liberty is from die wear.

It would help to know what a true hub doubled die is and how they are made. There is no duplication of LIBERTY here so that could have helped you identify what it was not anyway. Basically
ILIIIBERTY can not be doubling of LIBERTY.

Welcome to the forum! This is called "die deterioration doubling." As the die wears from striking hundreds of thousands of coins, these "ghostlike" images form, usually on the rim side of the devices. It is extremely common and not worth any premium.

Definitely not a "doubled" die.
