The second short snorter is going to be finding a new home next month.

It will be the Series 1995 $5 bill.

This Short Snorter will be raffled around the first of April.

Members can purchase any amount of raffle tickets. Tickets are $5 each.

To purchase tickets, send payment to cwelchuscoins@gmail.com

Include a note in the payment saying that it is for the LCR Short Snorter.

I will regularly update this thread as tickets sell.

Photo of the short snorter will be posted later today.

Please PM with any questions.

FYI- some of the proceeds from the last short snorter have been used for give aways to newer members. Proceeds also fund OneCent1909's contests including the coins and shipping. Bigger projects are in the planning stage- this is something that will benefit all members of LCR!

Drawing will be held on the evening of Sunday April 13th.

Prizes will be as follows:

First Prize: The Series 1995 official "LCR Short Snorter" pictured below.

Second Prize: Nifty Lincoln presentation with 1909 VDB Cent and Mint Conition 1909 Memorial Commemorative Lincoln Stamp. Includes post card of Lincoln's Springfield, IL home.

Third Prize: Pair of 2009-P & D Formative Years Cents (LP2) graded MS66 by PCGS

Fourth Prize: You can chose to opt in (include note with payment) for this prize. It is the protective Flat Rate Envelope, plastic cover and pen that traveled the country with the short snorters. This prize is for the sentimental type- you must request to be included in the drawing for this prize as some may not appreciate it! Consider that this may be one of the best traveled pens in the country (still waiting for distance traveled estimate). And yes- the pen still works!! :LOL_Hair:

Drawing will be held Sunday, April 13th. Tickets are $5 each.

Not a single person has purchased raffle tickets for the short snorter!

If there is not significant raffle ticket sales by the end of the weekend, the raffle will be scrapped and short snorter will be auctioned on eBay as the previous one was.

Time is running out, not a ton of tickets sold so your odds are GRRRRREAT!

FYI- every member to purchase 2 or more tickets will receive a Lincoln related prize, even if not a winner in the drawing.

Tickets are $5 each, please send as a gift to cwelchuscoins@yahoo.com

The drawing will be held in just a couple of days!

You list two different email address, Yahoo & Gmail, to enter. So do we enter using Pay Pal to which address?

Good catch ! I sent mine to the Yahoo address and he received it just fine....I'll bet either would work, just add a note as to what the money is for.

I was going to ask for a recount. Fibonacci numbers aren't that predictive.

SORRY!!

The drawing has been held....

Prize #1 Entrant #3
Prize #2 ALSO Entrant #3
Prize #3 Entrant #6- WILL BROOKS!
Prize #4 Entrant #3 as well

No kidding, these were the results of the drawing. I'm awaiting word from entrant #1 before I release their name. I knew Will would want to gloat immediately, so I didn't hold his name back!

Interesting statistics:
6 Entrants
4 Prizes

Odds below are for any one single prize:
Entrant #1 had a 22.222% chance of winning
Entrant #2 had a 3.703% chance of winning
Entrant #3 had a 37.037 % chance of winning
Entrant #4 had a 22.222% chance of winning
Entrant #5 had a 7.407% chance of winning
Entrant #6 had a 3.703% chance of winning

Thank you for everyone who participated. The proceeds continue to fund contests, educational purposes, promotion of the hobby through LCR at regional and national shows as well as the expenses of keeping the site online. Every bit helps. Every bit helps another learn.

Thank you very much, Chris, for all of your hard work on this and extraordinary generosity.
