Shock! Excitement! Then, slight disappointment. I am excited and happy to share that I found my first 1946 S/D OMM #1! Wow, I have been looking for one of these for 7 years! I am a little bummed at the damage/deep gouges on the coin; however, I am grateful that the damage is far from the mintmart. I am truly grateful to have found this variety (so don't get me wrong or misinterpret my slight disappointment as ungratefulness). This is a very cool die!

Congrats! Still looking for an OMM myself. To be honest I imagined the damage to be worse before I looked at the pic.

Um,I think it could have been way worse myself,S over D ya that is cool and will be hard for folks to find with all the dirt that builds up. Let me guess yours was a clean look. I like it and would pick it up if I was a buyer. Wow those are cool I tell people about them they are like what,I am like ya 2 Mint Marks and they are different Mint Marks-OMM,sweet real sweet. Its a super cool find.Tod

I've never seen this one in circ bag, the 44-D/S both yes. This one - No. - that even though damaged is nice to find for 2-5C!
