Hello again and long time no talk!

I found this coin the other day. It looks quite similar to the 1998-D and 1999-D 1DR-001's except that the doubling on my coin is more shelf like that typically seen on the two later dates. It is mostly in the same areas, however. The '98 and '99-D's appear to be master hub issues and I'm wondering if this is another case of that? Just looking for your opinion's on this one as I could find no mention of this type of doubling on any other dates besides 1998 and 1999 Denver coins. Thanks for any help you can provide as usual!

John

I'm thinking MD. I've pulled a few like that where the MD on the tops of the memorial columns was deceptive.

Good to see you around John! I agree with Jody that it looks like a case of deceptive MD.
