Hello I have been putting my coins in jars for years and I think I have some special coins. I would love to have information on these (9) coins. I spend a lot of time looking at coins it very relaxing for me. My pics are 1970 s - 1971 - 1958 D - 1958 - 1955 1917 - 1969 S - 1972 ---- one pic of all the coins. Most of these pics I believe to be Doubled Die coins all except the 1958 D it may be but the Liberty on this coin is different. The I (I) is side by side.. I appreciate all the help I can get on my collecting.

For the future, please devote a new thread for each coin you want to discuss. You can spread them out over a few days if it is too much at once. That way you will be able to explain in detail what you are seeing on each coin and you will get much better responses from the community that way. That said, I am sorry to tell you that I don't see any doubled dies in your lot of coins. In order:
1970S: I see a large date with damage on the date
1971: Looks normal, I see nothing unusual
1958D: Damage on LIBERTY.
1958: suffers from die deterioration. It was struck late in the die's life. Also has circulation wear.
1955: Die Deterioration Doubling and wear.
1917: Also just wear and damage
1969S: Looks normal to me.
1971: Same coin pictured earlier.
1972: Damage and wear on LIBERTY.

If I am missing something you want us to focus on, you will have to be more specific. Don't be discouraged. It takes lots of study and many thousands of coins to find a doubled die.

Hello,
What is it that makes you think these are doubled die coins?
from what I saw.. the 1969 S is not a doubled die die 1... there is 3 doubled dies for 1969 s... see here http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php

the 1955 looks like a "poor mans double die " or Die Deterioration Doubling... there is no real extra value for it...

You might want to start by searching each coin on coppercoins..
see here http://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php

then If you see something start a new thread, and tell us what you see.. any info you can give us on what you think will help us narrow down what it is and also help you learn about doubled dies

What Will said.
They don't look like varieties but if you look them up and think you see a match then try posting one at a time and note what you see.

And YES, don't give up!
