Just pulled this one. I know it is not the big one, but still cannot nail down which one it is. This is only the third 1972 DDO I have ever found. Philedelphia mint coins are a lot harder to find than Denver in my neck of the woods. I am also bummed about the condition, but thought I could at least use it to learn some more. If you have any thoughts please let me know. These are the best photos I can manage with my current setup. Does anyone know of a Windows 7driver for an AMscope MD400?? I no longer have a PC with an older version of Windows, so I cannot use my AMscope until I do, or find a new driver.

It's either 3 or 8 Sean....you'll have to check markers, but my guess would be 8. The only thing I can suggest is to contact Amscope...software is a pain :squigglemouth:

It appears to be die # 3, but it is hard to say from just images.

I am leaning towards the #8. The markers listed on CC are not present, but this could just mean it is LDS or VLDS.

Nice find either way even in its current condition... Maybe a little verdi care would spruce it up a bit!!!
