Here's one that could get away from you with just a little dirt in the right place. This one had some covering all but the top curve.

I wonder just how many cool RPMs like this one are sitting out there covered up in debris. I have probably $200.00 face in wheats that are unsearchable. Have considered, ummm, "conserving" them as an experiment just to see how many I would find. I know it isn't cost effective but I hate not knowing!

With RPMs like this one or the 56-D RPM-8 or almost any other RPM of interest with a sort of distinctive MM location I'll give the coins a close look if the MM location looks right. That weeds out most of the dirty ones so you can focus on the ones like this that can pan out to a nice find. :)
