    1975 Triple die

Some of the outer and date show that this was struck 3 times inside rim. Wish it was in better shape.
Could this be from a die adjustment.
Any one want chime in on this.

Doubling and tripling have nothing to do with the striking of the coin. I see too much wear on this coin to discern any extra lettering.

Yes it's worn bad. One that you have to have in hand to see it. I was just wondering cause of the rim by the date you can see 3 strikes. Thanks

I see what you mean, it looks like a mad and some die wear.

Like Enamel said, coins from doubled dies and tripled dies are only struck once.
This one is an error not a variety.
        Still a keeper

It appears to be a minor off center, I also see die abrasions and die wear... The "7" has 3 ridges on the top of the horizontal bar but the appears to be a combination of abrasions and wear... Still a keeper due to the misaligned strike!!!
