Flying 7

There is a crack on top of the 7 and what looks like a "swoosh" mark on the bottom. I am guessing maybe a plating bubble? Makes it look like it is flying! There is also a crack on the reverse on the FG.

Does look like it's flying... I also think bubble... I think that is the first time I've seen a crack between the "F" and memorial only!!!

It is possible that this is a trails die. Have you check that yet? I am looking at 1997P-1DEO-007T having an anomaly at that point off the 7.

I bet that is exactly what it is. The line coming from the top really didn't look like a normal crack and I thought that it was a weird place for a crack. It does have the appearance of those trail dies. I will research it a little more and try to get some better pics.

I don't know if these are better but i tried some different angles to get a better view of the "swoosh" at the bottom.

It seems too coincidental to me that there is a curved anomaly at the bottom and a straight one at the top for it to be trails, but it is certainly possible that the 2 anomalies have different origins. Nothing definitive can be said by the picture. I am willing to examine it in-hand for you if you are willing to send it to me. I'm confident I can diagnose it for you in hand. Send me a PM if you wish.
