I'm sorry! It will go to a good home.
I'm positive about that.
I thought the same but also couldn't see it sitting for the price.

I looked at that coin yesterday. I thought it would go for more too. I didn't even think about bidding. Very nice for price.

It is certainly not something to apologize for. That is a beautiful coin and variety for the money. That's why we do what we do. Well done!

Just got lucky I guess. The sellers always treated me good.
It defiantly is a great pick up. A sleeper auction no paid attention to.
Thanks Bob.

I noticed you put a second higher after thought bid. Looked at it Sat morning before going to a coin show. Figured a snipe would get it. Would a $100.00 snipe have taken it? Congrats, that early it will pull a very nice MS from PCGS.

That looks like a great deal.

You made the right decision to jump on it when you did. Congrats!

Probably not. I was over 100 but not by much. I was like!!!! did I just win that.
Don't make up for much lost but I 'm thrilled to win a 001. I have 3 002 UNC. in the last month with my eye on 1 more.

Well it made its way home and I just missed a 002 a few minutes ago.
Not as good shape as I thought or hoped for. MS 62/63 but for the [price. I'll take it.

The doubling on that coin is incredible. Appears to be an early die state specimen and one of the best I have seen. Is that damage above and below LIBERTY? If it is not, you might be undergrading it in my eyes.

Damage I Believe. Never noticed until it arrived. When coin is in hand you don't see it as bad it's when I shot a photo that enhances it. Like a stain.

This is still a superior pick up! I'm very envious of your score! The 002 you missed, you must have a clue who bid that one up!:tinysmile_hmm_t:

I was thinking it might of been. There are 3 still out there. If John or Chugly sold his.2 XF 1 UNC. Think that's brad. I'm looking for DDR-004. Unless they are cheap and UNC. you can have them. And Thanks

The doubling on that coin is crisp. I have a 63RB but the doubling on liberty is mushy compared to that.
Your coin would be a great example for a plate coin for someones website or book because it shows everything so clearly in that die state.

I thought the stuff above and below liberty might be etching from an old fingerprint.
