I am Corroded, have been collecting varieties for 11 yrs. I am a member of coppercoins, BJ's trail dies, CONECA, NCADD. I search alot of pennies.
I live on a rocky, wooded hilltop in north Ark., am 63 nearly, retired from
USPS for 7 yrs. I have several variety plate coins with various attributors
and hope to find many more. I have 672 diff doubled columns (bars) and
have given then numbers. I am not a specialist in this type, just love to
find and number them. Also like trail dies, wavy steps and doubled Abe Body Parts. I may not write much to this forum, but will faithfully follow it. Thank you for your time.

Hi Bob. I have highspeed internet now. Dependable. I'm still searching as
much as i can. Been outside alot cleaning up the ice storm. Will never get it cleaned up. If I was a monkey with abilities to climb to tree tops with chainsaw in each hand, i could do some work then.

Hi Bill,
Welcome to a great forum. For you folks who do not know Bill, he is the leading expert in extra columns and extra body parts of Lincoln on the Lincoln cent.

This is the guy that I have been sending roll after roll of extra design elements on the Lincoln cents, so if you think that you have a new one, ask Bill and he will tell you if it is new or not.

Aw, BJ!! You done went and blew my cover! I found three more new
ones this week--an 07, 99 and 08D dbld cols. But I am no expert, just
a collector that has them numbered and in a sensible order. Gene and I
went to Memphis last Saturday. Talk about a cold, wet, windy and
miserable day! But, a great show, every table occupied, many shoppers.
I have three trails to send you. Sorry looking little orphans they are, but
all yours.

Welcome Bill! You will learn lots of new things here, and maybe even something about coins... :)
Be careful doing that cleanup, we don't want anyone in our LCR family getting boo-boos.

For isgret, Daggit and Jean: I am too far away from NC and Canada. You must have a few trees
around somewhere. I just have limb wood from the ice storm. And many thanks for the welcoming. I have been looking at all the topics on this forum and have found out new things I didn't know before. I am glad to meet all of you and hope I didn't miss thanking someone.

OK, Thanks for the offer on Limb wood, however I will look elsewhere as I live in the Appalachian Mountains and I have plenty of trees. I know how those Ice Storms are as I went through one here in Mar 19, 1993 and was snowed/iced in for 7 days.

Take care and if you have time post some pictures of your finds.

I answered a post and must have typed 150 words in reply to the pictures of the four reverse doubled column cents sent by someone, giving my oppinion on them. I clicked on submit and lost the whole thing, a page came up saying I was not logged in. Now I can't find the post because i don't remember who posted it. HELP if you don't mine, someone please direct me to the post I am telling about. Thank you

No Jonathon, we don't know each other, but we know each other since we are all alike in the Land of Centdom. And the Land of Firewooddom.
I have outside furnace also. Comes in handy for when one of the cats die
and things like that, such as when the dogs bring up a deer hide. I burn
average 15 ricks (7.5 cords?) per year. Oak, hickory, elm, black gum,
little pine and cedar, old boards. I check other coins, I bought over 800.00 in change last year and got some neat stuff. I like Buffalos, dimes, kennedys, Ikes, have very few quarters and Jeffersons. But pennies are so cheap and abundant! And the girls at the bank take real good care of me. I send all trails to BJ Neff. have met many nice and honest people
through variety collecting.

Biller, Nat Pres of APWU. very nice man. You knew him?
I am getting glad I joined this group, meeting many folks. And
Jean, she must be the only lady so far I've met? Anyway, I'm glad to be here and hope to be of some kind of help.
