Took a tiny gamble on this Ebay item strictly because of the appearance (on Ebay, that is) of a nearly completey separate MM to the south. Pics are as good as I can shoot through a slab. Please excuse the variance in color and strength on these. Trying to expose the remnants to the south has given me a migraine. 'Nog time! Anyhoo, do you guys see anything here? Close-ups show what appears to be a minor split serif RPM but don't do much for the remnants to the south. Opinions?

My first thought would be pareidolia, but you may want to let Bob examine it when he is open for business again.

Don't even know if I could list anything like that Tracy. I can't quite see what you are seeing. With over 170 1960D RPMs already, it would be nice to see a totally separate mintmark, but my gut says it is nothing. Some of those die flow lines can be pretty convincing.

I see the area best in pic 1 but agree that it may be due to the flow lines... Nice looking coin tho!!!
