I can't find any listing for this particular RPM. Is it possible it took a hit, PMD? Maybe I'm blind. Kevin :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

I think it is PMD, because you have rim damage too.

Not so fast!
I disagree that this is post mint damage - looks like it's probably a die chip with a die crack extending to the left. It has more 'raised' metal than a 'normal' 1956D cent would have on and around the mintmark. This leads to the remote possibility that it could be an RPM, but is more likely a die chip.

I will hang onto it then. I'll label it "probable die chip, remote possibility RPM". Kevin
