Is this a interior die break or lamination?

this looks like a die break with some die cracks too
I believe the vertical bar of the "T" is shifted...
a lamination is when metal of the planchette or coin breaks away... sometimes falling off sometimes staying attached..
IF it falls off there is a depression at that spot of the coin..
IT is damage if someone digs and removes part of the metal after strike...
It is a die break if the die... breaks making a raised area on the coin...
I believe if you feel the area in question it will have what would seems to be a raised area around that part of the "T"

Being a plated cent I wouldn't think lamination.

I believe that if it is plated it would be referred to as plating peel... Lamination refers to the mixed alloy coins... This coin appears to be large enough to be an IDB... With what appears to be a shift on the "T" it could even have a partial RIDB!!!

Cracks/ chips seem to be common in that area on shield cents. That is the best one that I have see so far.

Nice example of a die very near the end of its usable life. Some of these can be pretty dramatic.
