Wheat cent (on average) 3.11 grams
3.11 x 5,000 = 15,550 grams
grams x 0.0022 = pounds
15,550 grams = 34.281882 pounds

So about 34 and 1/4 pounds

Nice work, Alex! You're probably in calculus by now, right? :nerd:
Ok, well since you stole a math question from me, I will have to point out a small error in your answer.
The question was "what does a bag of 5000 wheat cents weigh in pounds? " Therefore the answer is 34.28 lbs. plus the weight of the bag! :tinysmile_classes_t Just the kind of trick question I would ask!

I figure the wear is countered by the dirt.
