Is this a genuine error coin or has it been manipulated? I know alot of cents have been coated to look like steels, but I'm not sure if that's whats going on with this coin or not. Also, it looks like a capped die or collar error. Also it appears to have a rim around it and it is "split" open on the bottom of the reverse. I tested to see and it is NON-magnetic. It weighs 3.3 grams. Was it struck on the wrong planchet? I've attached photos...ANY help will be appreciated!!

Please post a picture of the whole obverse, the whole reverse, and the side where the split is at.
This will help us determine what the coin may be
Thanks

We need a pic to tell much about it. I don't see any pic at all.

From your desc of a rim around it that's split, that sounds like a bezel. It might be a coin that was put in a bezel and plated outside of the mint.
