    1957d mm-004?

Anyone agree? Also the "D WE" match the markers, but it seems like a lot of '57Ds do...

Oh yeah and I'm testing out a new toy... any lighting suggestions?

Are you using a florescent light?

I'm currently using a energy saving florescent coil and the pen light the microscope came with, which is kinda blue

Dont use the blue light. Looks like your using a QX something but they dont come with a pen light. Use alot of light but not to where there is glare on it. Most of the time I open the pic in a program and mess with the brightness and contrast also to give it a more clear picture. I can tell its a RPM but the pic needs work

Florescent Lights will do that. You might want to try a goose neck lamp with a 40w or 60w bulb from the side and no other lights. Then play around from there. Sometimes I use a Ring Light mixed with 60W light from the side to bring out the color of the coin instead of the Greenish look. Just play with your lighting and others may have some other ideas. It also depends on what you are using to take your pictures.

I have a desk ring light that had a magnifying glass in the middle of it that I just popped out. Cheap ring light!!..lol..Had a neck I can turn and swift whatever way I need to and ev n sit my scope thru the middle if I want to get a different light on something close. Mostly I use if from the side. Its a fluoresent with a plastic over it that works kinda like a filter of some sort.
