I think I see a ghost mintmark

I think I see a ghost, it looks like separate D mintmark to the west of the primary mintmark on this 1966D. There are a number of listing for 1961D’s with a secondary mintmark that can be seen above the primary mintmark. What do you think?

Also what looks like a strong portion of a secondary mint mark can be seen inside of the primary mintmark. But I can’t find any markers that match.

That looks intriguing. I am concerned about the excessive abrasion marks in the vicinity. I don't have the capability to do overlays right now. Anybody?

You know what I'm gonna say. lol. Pareidolia. I just don't objectively see a D here. Just some abrasion and deterioration as Bob pointed out. The thing inside the D looks like a heavy die scratch.

The shape of the lower portion of the supposed D is incorrect. With so much abrasion I don't know...
