Firs,t the obvious rather LDS example of FS 101. Not the greatest detail until you look at the mint mark. I see the leg and upper loop of a second D inside the first. I also looked at my CPG and COPPERCOINS and they show the same thing. Am I just seeing something that isn't there or has it been overlooked all these years? Steve

What you are seeing inside the primary mintmark is the corner of the mintmark punch. If it had a serif then you for sure would have something. Seems these 80's dies were somewhat common for this as i've been fooled a few times with the answer always being what I stated before.

Nice coin even for a LDS... How does the rev look???
