1930 date

I have this Unc 1930 that has bugged me for awhile. Strange looking 3 in the date.Any one have a similar one.Just wondering. Thanks

Yes. Many in fact. Yours is slightly different but I believe the distortion you're seeing is from a subtle hit like most of mine. If I'm seeing what you're seeing it's flared tips on the ends of the three plus a bulge in the field just below the upper loop. The other numbers look slightly thick but I think its part of this years design if I'm correct. I also see hits in the other numbers. I'm not 100% here but I am 100% sure 1930 wheats from all 3 mints give me a headache!

To me it looks almost like a reengraved die... Not sure tho!!!
