Sorry about the quality of the photo but the obv. Is off center and it seems like someone had taken to halves of the same penny and glued them to a slightly smaller copper circle but the duvet is rounded almost like when it was struck the part that keeps the penny from expanding broke and further questions please ask

Most likely this is an ex-encased coin. I'll see if I can find a link with info.

Does it look similar to this one...

I think Mike is correct... Also looks as if it was damage being removed... That would explain it being out of round!!!

yes it does look similar however it has a slight oval shape.
If it doesnt trouble you how does an exencased coin form like this?

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have you. I agree that it appears to have been kept in a bezel. The bezel often smashes the rim like this. We see these a lot. Everything you see on this coin can be attributed to damage it sustained after it was struck. There is no discernible striking error here.

edit: I could have sworn I already added this to the glossary, but it doesn't seem to be there. Mike, I'll use your photos if that's ok. Let me know.

No problem Will. Here is one type of bezel that would cause this type of dammage...
