Finally getting around to tinkering with the equipment I got from Ray. I have no idea what I am doing, lol. Anyway, here was my first attempt at a photo. Pretty lousy, but I'll get the hang of it with practice. Feedback would be appreciated. Also, here is a 1909 S VDB. Would you agree that this is a die#2? The damage on the NW of the mint mark is throwing me off. Thanks.

Not too bad on photos, Will. I'll assume you're using a couple of Jansco-ish desk lamps for side lighting? Looks like you need a bit more topside lighting or perhaps a ring lite. This should help blend/diffuse the side lights. Your pics look pretty pure but just a little dark. Nice coin too!

Looks pretty good. Ray's setup seems to be well done. as with anything practice makes perfect...
