So far the best pic I have is trying to make these work. My question is how you angle them to the coin. I made a diagram..sorta.. to show how I have mine.
Is this how you have them curve or opposite? This is the shot I get. One pic with no editing or stacking. I like this better than any I have yet. Ill look for a real nice coin to try this again.

That's the right orientation. Idea is to simulate small sections of a ringlight. The direct reflections should be just outside the radius of the coin. Look on CCF and search for "final configuration" where I describe how to calibrate lighting using a mirror.
