Help needed with 1967P

Hello. Yesterday I found this and am a bit stuck. What looks like MD in some areas of the coin looks like DD in other areas. For example, the R in liberty seems to have clear separation and notching in the top left corner. I also tried to do a "side view" of the date - it's included, and though it's not well focused, I'm looking particularly at the 7 in the date. Would love some opinions/thoughts.

Your pics are pretty blurry but I believe what you have is a combination of MD and post mint damage. I can't see the 7 but what you're seeing on the 196 is both damage and MD/die deterioration as the doubling is cutting into the normal size of the device. I think what appears as doubling in Liberty is the result of a hit.
