I have found many 1970S Lincolns, but I have been reluctant to post some that I thought were possible small dates because I didn't feel confident in identifying them. Well, I will post this one because I thought it had some of the differences that Chugly shared with us recently. Your feedback will be appreciated.

The 9 loop points down to where the mint mark is near the bottom of the 7
The bottom of the 7 is bellow the bottom of the 0
This is a large date as George said

Yepper, large date. If been a collector and searcher for 17 years and have only found one. They are tough to find!

Large date... The best way for me to decide is the 9... The inside of the top on a small appears to be more of a perfect circle than the large date which appears elongated slighly http://www.lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1970Ssmalldate.html I know you have probably seen the link before but figured I would include it since I am not sure I explained myself correctly...
