While searching a roll of 44's,I came across this. Pretty sure it is a class VI 1944D DDO-001. I think that there are other dies from this year that also have extra thickness,I this this because I have others with various thickness on date and obv. motto. What do you guys think?

That does look like a DDO... Were you able to match any markers??? A little hard to tell which one you have... The pic is a little blurry and appears washed out... Would it be possible to get pics of the the other devices???

sorry if the pictures are not very good,I have used a different camera for these. As for markers,I am having a time with that because of the coins condition. What are some good sites to use for attributions? Thanks

It's always better to have the images turned correctly. Hard to look at an image while turning your head sideways.

You will get it eventually... It can take awhile... You can use Copper Coins http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1944&die_id=1944d1do001&die_state=mds and/or Wexlers site http://doubleddie.com/710334.html which are really good... Copper Coins has not had updates for a while due to some programming issues but still has lots of photos... Wexlers site has lots of photos and CONECA has some as well... Your coin does appear to be Copper Coins 001!!!

Thanks for the tips and advice. Through searching the listing,I was able to match obv. die markers to confirm that this is the coppercoin1944D DDO-001.
I have so many other thing that I would like to get opinions on,but first I figure out a way to get better pics on here. Thanks.

Thanks for the update... You will get the hang of the pics eventually... When I first started it would take me several hundred pics to get just one ok useable pic :LOL_Hair: I still have issues but recently got a new camera setup and am hoping that helps :LOL_Hair: The 2 best photographers on here are JCUVE and Ray-Parkhurst!!!

Very nice DDO in great shape! In my experiences, I have found very few DDO-001. The MM on this one is to low for 001. This coin is WDDO-025, another monster!
