I found this one in a roll I got from the bank... I think it is a 1970 s DDO large. I just can't figure out the doubling I'm seeing at his mouth?

107090??

Hello , yes you have a normal large date cent. The only thing I can see from your photos are some hits and scratches to the mouth. I haven't heard of any doubling in the mouth...

You can use doubledies.com and coppercoins.com for some great examples of doubled dies for this year and mint.

Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, sorry but that is just a hit. Doubling will actually be raised.

Thanks for your input... much appreciated.

Thank you!! the pics were taken from a Motorola turbo 2. It takes really good shots of my coins. I love it.

Ok. If you one of you guys get a min... check out this 69. I swear I see doubling but it's probably just 'wishful eye trickery' on my part. I am trying to learn doubling... read about Types I,II, and lll last night but it's still hard for me to tell just yet.

It is out of focus when I zoom in....but it looks like machine doubling...pretty common on this year and not worth a premium. Better close ups would be needed to say for sure.Hang on to it until you get better at close ups or get a macro attachment for your phone.
