Hello All,
I found this coin while going thru my coins.
It looks like the planchet was damaged before being struck.

Is there a technical name for this? (fairly new to coin collecting)

It is on both sides of the coin as shown.

Any collector interest in this type of error? estimated value?

thanks
Twisted

Somebody scarred up the coin both obverse and reverse. It is called post strike damage (PSD). The coin is worth 1 cent.
