I found this 1986 in a roll. I'm sure it's plated, but I have to get the opinions of the experts. It looks like a circulated proof, yet there is no cameo or an S. The rims aren't squared off. It weighs 2.59g, so it's a little heavy. All signs point to altered, but I had to check with you guys before I toss it. Plated, right?

It looks like it has a coat of shellac, not plating. Soak in acetone for a while and see if it comes clean.

Soaked a couple of hours and no change.

At least now we know it wasn't shelac... I am also leaning toward replated... Especially with the minor extra weight!!!
