    grading question

    I just wondered if this strike through will lower the grade of this coin and if so by how much? Also will only ANACS grade this?

      I am not sure it is a strike thru??? To me it appears it is PSD from long ago that has aged with the coin... There are a couple of spots that appear to be damage from later in the coins life as the color difference is much greater??? I like the color!!!

          I'm thinking the odd color is from past cleaning then it got blotchy re-toning. Note the light colored stuff in GOD and TRUST, I think that might be some residue from whatever they cleaned it with.

              It could come back questionable on the color, but I would say 64BN with the caveat that I would need to see the reverse. A coin is only as good as its worst side.
