Hello All,
Was wondering if this could be considered a DMM?
As you can see there looks to be another "ghost" D clockwise of the normal mintmark.

Hi Twisted. I assume you mean RPM? In this case what you are seeing is split plating where the copper plating(which is very thin) split around the D.

Also there can't be an rpm on a 1993 cent.

I am thinking the DMM is Double Mint Mark??? If it was a DMM there would be no way to tell due to the split plating and corrosion... If you find one without the split plating and corrosion then it could be investigated further!!!

There are no RPM's after 1989 because the mint marks were on the master die beginning in 1990, so if you see a true doubled mint mark after 1989, it would most likely be a doubled die obverse.
