    how does one of these escape the mint?

    My guess is they leave the mint as a perfectly good coin then spend the rest of their life getting kicked around a parking lot and ran over. I'm pretty sure that's post mint damage.

        You can see all the die impressions letters and numbers all over the coin plus is still has the coating its smooth to the touch.

            It takes years of planning the escape but eventually most coins get free Sorry I couldn't resist... I am a smart A$%... That is a really good example of a parking lot coin... Poor coin!!!
