View Full Version : 1972P-1DO-004 ??
I couldn't find any of the CC (http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1972&die_id=1972p1do004&die_state=eds), WX (http://doubleddie.com/384301.html) or VV (http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%202/1972PDDO004.htm) die markers, but it sure looks like an -004. Of course I am known for misdiagnosing 60D RPMs so I do not have very high hopes for this one. Thanks for looking and advising.

I don't believe that is a 004...the spread is too great on the U of TRUST for starters....some of your pics are out of focus, but I would be looking at 002 & 007

To me it looks closest to VV 007 http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%202/1972PDDO007.htm when comparing IGWT... Excellent find either way Larry!!!

I agree Jim! I think I got overly excited when it seemed to match -004 and didn't examine closely all the options. Oh well, maybe next time.

I completely agree! Jason's comparison was vital to my attribution of a 1972 DDO-002 I found last year. Great find!!!
