C.C.-009 was a quick guess but as you can see it's just a shade beat up. This is actually my first 1941 DDO
ever. Would have loved to see this one in better shape!

I think yours is the first I have ever seen. Nice pick.

Even with the wear, a big class 6 for sure! The 41 class have been tough for me to atribute with out a solid marker. 1DO-009 looks like one of the biggest, so probably a good guesse!

The only '41 I've found is one of the full/broken T hubs. Strong class 6 there!

Nice find... Where you able to match any markers??? CC 009 crosses to Wexlers 004 http://doubleddie.com/597955.html Wexler shows a die dot on the jacket and there appears to be something on your coin in that vacinity... I can not tell for sure tho!!!

Nice one, bud! I love 1941. I have found many of the 1941 DDOs. One of my most favorite years to search.

I have many many 1941 Doubled dies. Like Will, this is one of my favorite years to search. I believe I have all but 1 on the 1941 doubled dies. As far as determining whether or not this is die-007, die-009, or die -031, it is difficult based on the circulation wear. Either way, it is no doubt a nice and strong class 6 DDO.

There appears to be a die crack on the lower vest but it's sketchy. I will have to check for that dot. Thanks!

Let us know what you find out... If you can get a close up of the possible crack that would help!!!

Finding those markers just got a bit tougher. I found this coin by chance while separating leftover bulk wheats by decade that I had already searched with the assistance of my daughter . Well, I kinda left this one under the DinoLite after posting it just before going to work. My daughter decided to take the initiative and continue sorting to surprise me and....ummmm.....well......would anyone like to buy 20 pounds of previously searched 1940's Philadelphia wheats with a 1941-1DO-009 as a bonus????
