I thought I would post this 1934 P IDO-003. It is not in as good a shape as mrmike916 posted but still it is a DDO. Maybe someone would like to compare the two and see how the two coins are different and similar in nature. Thanks..........................dinkyblue

Nice find... Comparing it with CC 003 and VV 002 yours looks to be a CC VLDS http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1934&die_id=1934p1do003&die_state=lds
and much later than VVs Stage C (Maybe aStage E or later) http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20Doubled%20Dies%20Vol%201/1934PDDO002.htm

I've added a couple of photo's, the none colored one is Wexler WDDO - 004 and the other one showing the date is mine. I circled the die gouge. I thought this was a close match. Positioning on the vest and date or close. Please tell me what you think. Thanks.................Dan

I can not tell on the gouge... Yours is a much later die state plus the circ wear... I believe your is CCs 003/VVs 002... Just a note - You should not post others coin pics with out permission... When you do get permission you should state so... The folks at VV may like to see your coin to update their files and show a later die state!!!

I agree, CC 003, VV 002 and Wexler 004. I will check with VV. Thanks............................Dan

Very cool! Thats still a nice circ example. I like to keep one in as many die states as I can! Great pics of the die wear going to work on the devices. I kinda like how it have given the T some horns!
