Cherry Picked a 1919 S RPM 1

Took a gamble at $21 delivered and won. Looks like a decent XF coin. Seller had great pictures so I can not understand why this outstanding group of pickers did not beat me to it.LOL
This makes Coin # 68 of my 100 list.

Can you get a better close up of the date/MM??? The pic is a little to blurry making the tail of the first 9 appear to be to long and makes the MM appear to far north... At least for me!!!

Nice Bob, I cannot believe you found that on the bay - they are rare as hensteeth in my area. Never found one and had to buy mine. 20 years of looking everywhere - shows, lots but i must admit. Not on the bay!

Eric I had no idea it was that scarce. I just keep plugging away till I find the next coin. Sometimes it takes awhile for sure.

What a spectacular score! This RPM is incredibly scarce and this is only the second example that I've even seen in the past 5 years! I've seen $1,000 price tags on coins similar to yours in the past. Well, well done!!!

Outstanding! I always thought these rpms must be a really rare find because you simply NEVER see one anywhere. I've never even seen an online discussion about one. I've hunted them religiously on eBay to no avail. My experience has been that most of the examples listed have a MM that is so deteriorated attribution would nearly impossible to confirm. I also think many pickers have forgotten these even exist. Great pick, Bob!

I don't think I ever knew they did exist, makes me wish I did because 19-s are a coin I never looked at closely so I would have missed them.
