United States Mint Releases Rolls of Second Redesigned Lincoln One-Cent Coins on May 14

http://www.usmint.gov/images/pressroom/default.jpg WASHINGTON - At noon Eastern Time (ET) on May 14, 2009, the United States Mint will offer two-roll sets of one-cent coins bearing the second new reverse design struck in honor of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln's birth. The historic Lincoln Cent "Formative Years" Two-Roll Set is available for a limited time only and is priced at $8.95 per two-roll set.

This is rediculous. I think its stupid anymore. The MINT of all places is making a profit on selling new cents. JUST RELEASE THEM already!!!..I dont even care about these ents anymore. I just one one of each MM for my Dansco and the rest can just melt for all I care.

I agree. They turned this whole thing into a get rich quick SCAM for a choosen few. Should of been released to general public. Joe

Your right, concidering they should have been released Feb. 12th like they said they were going to do, but nooooooooooo, blame it on the economy.:~

The FIRST design was released on Feb 12th (and it actually was). This release date is for the second of the four reverse designs.
